Butlers Offers 2017 Sniper

The Bulldogs played host to three visitors this weekend. One of those visitors was Northfield Mount Hermon junior Andrew Platek. The school’s twitter account broke the news that the 6’4″ shooting guard walked away with an offer from the Bulldogs.

“It was incredible,” Platek told ButlerHoops.com. “I loved the coaches, the campus, and especially the facilities. The history at Butler is something you notice when you walk in and being around it all was a surreal experience.”

Platek holds additional high major offers from Miami, Penn State, and Rutgers as well as a handful of mid and low major offers. The 6’4″ sniper is ranked as the 40th best shooting guard in the country by ESPN. He averaged 12 points and 5 rebounds per game last season. He scored 24 points a game 2 seasons ago for Guilderland before transferring to play at NMH.
