Here we will bring you first hand accounts of player performances, exclusive reports on Butler targets, and weekly reports on the top performances in the AAU circuit and high school basketball. I graduated in 1973. During my freshman year Hinkle was still coaching. Billy Shepard was awesome and rightfully in Butler’s Hall of Fame. It irks me a tiny bit that he is not recognized as our first Professional Basketball player. He was drafted and played in the ABA – made the cover of Sports Illustrated. Outscored Charley Scott for the best in the country and was MVP of the East West College All-Star Game. He was a miniature Pistol Pete Maravich – SERIOUSLY
