Butler continues its pursuit to find a 2014 guard. According to Mark Miller of WisSports.net, Butler has extended an offer to 2014 PG/SG Riley LaChance.
Offers keep pouring in for Brookfield Central senior Riley LaChance. Butler, Creighton and Utah are latest D1 offers.

LaChance averaged 21 points per game on 45% shooting last year to lead Brookfield Central (Wisconsin) to a 20-4 record. He shot an impressive 40% from behind the arc. The 6’1″ rising senior is playing this summer with Ray Allen Select where he has drawn a lot of attention.
Best known as a great shooter, LaChance has been proving he is much more than that. In addition to scoring from the 3 point line he also has an excellent pull up jump shot and can get to the rim and finish as well. He has a great feel for the game and understands how to run a team from the point guard position. LaChance isn’t an elite athlete by any means, but he much quicker than he looks and is able to hold his own against pressure from better athletes.
Riley currently holds other high major offers from Oklahoma State, Missouri, and Creighton in addition to numerous mid major offers. ESPN ranks LaChance 97th in the 2014 class, 23rd best among point guards. Scout classifies him as a shooting guard, where he comes in ranked 29th at the position. Rivals has yet to rank LaChance, but according to Eric Bossi, it is a “safe bet” that he will make an appearance when the next top 150 is released.
I will attempt to get some more information regarding Butler’s recruitment of Riley LaChance. As always, stay plugged in to the message board for up to date information on LaChance and other Butler recruits.
