are we sure if andershock has an offer from us and not just interest?
ha, whoops. good catch butlerway. i think we can be sure andershock does not have an offer from us, or interest. thanks.
What about this Brenton Scott 2013 PG? From twitter it sounds like he has an offer from us. Is this true?
IndyStar Class of 2013 rankings
4. Brenton Scott -- 5-11 point guard, Fort Wayne Northrop: With twin brother Bryson at shooting guard, Brenton has made the adjustment to point guard this season. He scored 26 points in a 97-82 win over Leo in late February. Northrop coach Barak Coolman said Brenton is the better outside shooter at this point of his career. Butler, Illinois, Indiana, Notre Dame, Ohio State, Penn State, Purdue and Xavier are among the schools showing interest.
Sam Cassell Jr. was linked to Butler interest a few weeks ago. This recent update (July 1st, 2011) shows there is still interest, but FSU might be his favorite for obvious reasons.
TALENTED BALTIMORE ELITE SQUAD READY TO HIT JULY RUNNING
Sam Cassell Jr. is another 2012 recruit who has been undoubtedly watched by numerous coaches.
“Sam didn’t go to the Los Angles EYBL event with us due to some family obligations. However, Sam has been working real hard. He’s been in the gym. He’s been working real hard in practice and so forth. I know he wants to narrow it down to four/five/or six schools, but I think the same thing is going to happen with him in July because he’s a late bloomer. In July he’ll get a chance and show what he can do for the college coaches,” said Rucker.
As far as Casell’s recruitment goes Butler is involved, but as of two months ago his father’s Alma matter was his favorite school.
“I was told he was high on Florida State. I know Butler was recruiting him, but Florida State was the front runner [in early May],” said Rucker.
I am away for a few more days on my honeymoon, but wanted to share my new blog for those who missed it, which highlights Smeathers and Woods and their experience in the All-Star game. I will be posting more blogs when I get back!
