Appreciate the work that goes into it. The only thing I noticed is that the unread threads do not show at the top level on the app - you have to click-through once to see which threads have new posts. Not a huge deal, but was not sure if that was one of the intended outcomes.

It does, but the first screen that shows "Butler Bulldogs", "Bulter Recruiting", etc used to have blue dots indicating an unread thread in the sub-threads. It only shows up if you click through to the next level. No big deal at all - just giving feedback.

I like the new format. I think logging into the site is much easier.

Also, I'm a big fan of the media button in the text box toolbar. Support for like 50 different media apps/formats? Awesome. Only need a URL too, which is totally easy.

 

Definitely. As someone who never figured out how to embed tweets on the old site, it's a very welcome upgrade!

 

Looks nice and clean. One suggestion I have would be to make borders of each reply stand out more, in the old one there was a clear break between each post and now it's mostly white space with a very faint grey line. Not crucial but I think it would help.

 

Not that it matters now, but it the format was this:

The "TweetNumber" is the numeric number at the end of the tweet's URL. So if you wanted to post the tweet at "hhttps://twitter.com/BIGEAST/status/760839827197599744" you would put this code:

[tweet]760839827197599744[/tweet]

Once again, it totally doesn't matter now, but now you know haha.

EDIT: Notice I added an extra "h" to the front of the URL because it automatically converts URLs now.

 

Hey Jared - I noticed that the new format messed up the Scholarship Chart on the recruiting board.

Also, when I put the link in above using the WYSIWYG editor, there's nothing in the editor to show a link's been placed there unless you go to the BB Code.

 

Any chance of the "down vote" type option being enabled like Reddit?

I miss the Yuku board, the thought of talking the 2009 and 2010 seasons are just nostalgic.
