So I am returning for Homecoming this year. It has been a long time since I have been to Indy or been on campus. I know a lot has changed including the restaurants and bars on campus. We are staying out in Carmel as our fraternity is having a get together out there. So my question for one and all is what is there to do and see around campus and town on Friday and Saturday during Homecoming. I know there is the game and all but what would any of you suggest; eating, drinking, what about places to see, walk about etc? Is the Mel still there (Ernie and Louise ?) Broad Ripple? The Gardens? How will parking be those two days on campus? Thanks for any suggestions.
Just a quick note. Had a great time at Homecoming and met a number of people including a few members of this board who knew more about me than I do. Thanks for the trip thru Hinkle and the wonderful tailgating in the parking lot.
