I don't know that this is a good move. His wife is from eastern N.C., though, so maybe it's more about family. There are so many hurdles to building a successful program in Greenville.

As of today, April 23, there have been 52 D1 vacancies and 48 of them have been filled---that's a whole lot of coming and going when you at the number of people it takes to field a team. You rarely see more than one member of the old staff retained.
Insane Dawg has an ally in Hoopdirt when it comes to Alford firing David Grace. HoopDirt regards Grace as one of the premier recruiters on the west coast and could not believe Alford got rid of Grace. Grace was just hired as an assistant at Cal--out of work for 3 or 4 days.
