Bradley and Winthrop punched their tickets. Liberty about to. Love these tourneys.
Don't know where to put it...but it is the 10 year anniversary of this...and it is tournament worthy.

If the favorites hold serve in the BE tournament and if we are a solid 5 right now, each win will push us up a line. Win over Providence moves us to the 4, a win over Creighton pushes us to a 3 and a win over SH or Nova moves us to the 2.
Seems crazy, but if this scenario plays out, we'd have the 2nd most Quad 1 wins behind KU, if they win the Big 12 Tourney. I know, 1 game at a time, but fun to dream.
Our current seeding from top ranked bracketologists on BracketMatrix:
Bracketville - 5
Pulse on Sports - 6
Facts and Bracks - 5
Jon Teitel - 5
Our own Luke Harkins - 4
Jesse Kramer - 5
One Man Selection Committee - 6
To me, it seems pretty likely Butler is a 6 with a loss Thursday and a coinflip for a 4 or 5 with a win.
Sure would be fun to flirt with a three seed by making it to the Saturday night game (though I do think winning the BET is necessary to hit the three line).
Just looking at the 6 seeds, given our quad 1 record, I don't see how we fall there.
I think this is the correct take at the end. The difference between Butler being the last four and a five seed in my bracket is extremely minuscule right now - Butler could be back on my 5 line before Thursday easily.
Andy Katz playing the disrespect card BIG TIME on his final Power 36 rating this morning. Has X ranked.....and no Butler in his top 36. What a joke......
Get ready for everyone to pick against us in a 5/12 game.
Butler is ranked 32 on this list. Looks like they were not on his previous one.
He tweeted this, so good job Butler Twitter :
Also, his '36' is definitely a momentum-based ranking, hence Providence being way up there.
And for us to be a noon tip in the first round.
And have to play on a Thursday
On CBSSN with Lappas on the color.
Katz admitting he simply forgot to include Butler (or didn't see the Xavier outcome) would've been better than that "momentum and moving around of teams" nonsense considering Butler beat Xavier on Saturday night.
I think with a win against Providence and Butler could elevate to a #4 seed, but I don't see us any worse than a #5 seed--as long as the game against Providence is competitive.
I wouldn't know what to do if we didn't play an early game. When was the last time we played in the evening or at night in the first round?
I really don't think there is any way that losing to one of the hottest teams in the country could drop us, but it would leave open the opportunity for teams on the 6 line to jump us if they do well in their tournaments. Let's beat Providence and not have to worry about it!
Honestly feels like the 2003 game was the last time we played the first game at night.
That's what I was thinking - the Brandon Miller runner in the lane against Mississippi State game. That was a really late tip if I remember correctly.
Katz has us as a #7 seed, which seems criminally low.
