I don't see any way 15-3 (27-4 overall) wouldn't be a 1 seed this season. No way. Now, I also don't see any way we skate through the next 11 games at 10-1, either. But, just saying. And yeah, we're not getting into the Tournament at 17-14 (5-13), either, barring getting to the BE Tournament champ game, I guess. That tool seems busted.
The Big Ten is overrated all the time in just about every sport. But this year, for basketball .... not overrated at all. Outside of the 2017 Big 12, I believe it's the most difficult conference in the last decade, per Pom.

Waiter....I'll have what he's having. At this point the way things are going (so much parity in the league not named Seton Hall) I'd be fine with 9-9 and we get in easily. I'm hoping for 10-8.
4-3 with 6 home games left, none of which are against the league’s best team and 5 of which are against the bottom half of the league. Will be favored by 5+ in all 6 remaining home games. 9-9 would be a significant disappointment, even with the way the last 2 weeks have gone. 10-8 would be fine, but even then, that’d be underperforming vs current projections. I'll say this, I'm always against a 4-5 seed...rather be a 3 or 6 so as to not have to see the 1 in the sweet 16. But this year...is there anyone to fear if we were to fall on the four line or five line? We've shown we are one of the few that matchup well with Baylor, Duke has its flaws, Gonzaga is very good, but great? Not sure. SDSU? I like them and I love watching them, but they don't scare me. Getting ahead of myself but if we can nail down 10-8 that's 22-9 overall. Nab one BET win and that's 23-10 with a Kenpom and NET most likely around 2oish. I think that's a very realistic goal without allowing yourself to be disappointed.
Eh, I don't mind the #4 as much. Win two and get 5-6 days to prepare for a #1 seed. Then you are playing on house money and all the pressure is on the #1. Shooters shoot!
Yeah, I think it is about matchups (Are Gonzaga and SDSU 1 seeds?). Honestly, it doesn't matter as long as we are clicking and healthy (no more injuries) by the end of the season. By necessity, if we are clicking there is no way we are worse than a six seed.
I can't see either losing before the end of the year and the conference tournaments. So by default I think they'll be a 1. My guess is this-10-8 gets us at worst a 5 9-9 probably a 6 or 7 11-7 probably a 4 And that's as far as I'm going to dream.
