Style of play? Sure. Goofy mustache. Yes. Attitude? Couldn’t be further from Howard... Constant flexing, showboating and cocky demeanor.

UCLA should have won that game. I think Baylor wins by double-digits.

Agree, although the Virginia/Purdue game when Carsen Edwards went nuts was just as good imo.

I'm going with Nova's national championship. Last second buzzer beater with the team celebrating as streamers covered the court.

Will admit that I too am not a big Cronin fan either but it has been fun watching his Dad in the stands.

Now is it a question of recovery and endurance? Four out of the 5 Gonzaga starters played 40+ minutes, while the other was the big man Timme, who played 38. While Baylor had 2 players play more than 30 minutes in its blowout of Houston.

Yeah I agree, one of the best individual tournament performances by a player I can remember. The premise of the question is a great one, admittedly it encourages you to pick the most recent game that kept you in suspense.

For now, the game that nearly blew my mind would be Butler vs Florida in the Elite 8 2011. I basically went through the five stages of grief in that game before they found a way to come back and win it.

I haven't been a Cronin fan either, but his response on the Juzang charge call with 1 second left in regulation was total class:

"I thought it was a well-officiated game. Obviously, I was hoping they would call a block at the end of the play, at the end of regulation, when Johnny broke to the basket. It might have been a charge. I haven't seen the film.

"I would say this: it's the hardest play in the world for an official. and if I see the film and it looked like the guy was moving, then sometimes things aren't meant to be. And I could tell you the official, if he did miss it, I'm sure he didn't mean to. But maybe it was a charge."

FWIW, I thought Timme made a great play and it was an obvious charge (and I would have preferred for UCLA to win.)

I have Baylor winning it all and with last night's two games, I feel pretty good about that. The last spread I saw was Gonzaga -4.5.

I think we are all under estimating how truly good UCLA has been playing and how strong of a team they are.

My money is still on zaga

Look on the bright side. You’ll all sleep well tonight, unlike Indiana fans, who are all ****ting themselves that the Zags win and take away the only thing ppl remember about IU basketball.

Don’t bet Baylor tomorrow unless you hate money.

You think? I picked Baylor in my brackets...after last night it isn't how Gonzaga played (they played very well, ucla was playing out of their minds) it's more so will Baylor be equipped with fresher bodies. They're the deeper team as is. I think if this thing stays 4-4.5 I may just bet the over and that be that. But if it goes up to 5.5 or 6? Gonna be tough not to take Baylor. Betting against Gonzaga is a money death sentence though.

What we do know is these are clearly the best two teams in hoops and have been all year. Gonna be plenty of future millionaires on the court tomorrow. Let's enjoy it before the cnba ruins them.

Gonzaga has had the easier road to the final game. Each game they've played was against a 5 seed or worse. If Baylor's guards shoot like they did against Houston, they just seem unstoppable to me. It should be a great game.

That was snatching victory out of the jaws of defeat.
Trying to remember what Shelvin claimed he said to the Pittsburgh player shooting free throws before he clanked them.
