I know he wants to stay south, but I'd throw the sink at Cross since we were one of his finalists last year.
Well god dammit. Shows what I miss when I'm neck deep in margs and tacos. Totally missed that last night.
"Really light it up from distance" means 34% this season, apparently. But he's a hoosier from New Albany who started his career at Illinois State, where he did shoot 40% from 3 in his one year there. He shot 48% and 45% from 3 in his 2 years in JUCO prior to Illinois State. 6-2, 190.
My God. He’s like Mamadou N’Diaye. Those dudes are sooo uncoordinated and awkward that I think they hurt more than they help. Only one that tall I have seen who is reasonably mobile/athletic was Tacko Fall.
Teddy Allen leaving Nebraska. 16 and 5....shoots 38% from 3 and his a monster swing guard (6'6 and 220). The big boys will be all over him most likely with those numbers in the big ten. He's one hell of a wing though. Worth a phone call.
Lowery recently followed this grad transfer candidate. I can imagine we get involved. I think follows aren't a bad barometer for who they are thinking about. https://winonastatewarriors.com/sports/mens-basketball/roster/kevion-taylor/10037
Yeah he made mention of the "next step" in his basketball career (paraphrasing). I'm not sure if his overall shooting is there yet to make that jump but his body screams an NBA 2 guard.
I can see adding a 3 if Scooby leaves, but you've got Pierce and DJ coming in. We need a 4 to replace Nze & provide depth for JaKobe.
Just my opinion, but Hughes is probably better suited for the 4 or even 5 at this stage. Could he develop into a small forward, possibly? Thomas on the other hand could fill many roles.
I really like AT, but Nze returning could be just as crucial. Ideally Hodges at the 3 would be best, but for a small ball 4 I'd totally agree.
