First Graham and now Turgeon...it seems the Terps are circling the drain...and yet, we've got 55 injured players on our roster and no coach that can lead them....
I for one would take a shot at this kid. He's got too much game. Think he's just been buried, needs an opportunity Sent from my SM-G986U using Butler Hoops mobile app
I know he was injured for a bit and never seemed to regain his rotation minutes. But UM hasn't been as good as they were touted to be, so it is a bit concerning that he was able to earn those minutes. That said, I don't see why we wouldn't kick the tires. We do have a bit of logjam at guard ourselves and at 6'2" would he be an upgrade over Harris? Does he supplant Tater Tot for primary PG minutes? Luko is probably going to take a bunch of minutes in there as well.
He was 6'2 as a sophomore, junior in HS, he's a legit 6'5 now Sent from my SM-G986U using Butler Hoops mobile app
Yeah if there's anything of a relationship still there I'd kick the tires because lord knows we need some depth going forward. And I also think in this day with all the portal movement, you just go after talent. You have no idea who is staying or leaving year to year from programs across the country. So no reason not to put a bug in this kid's ear.
This will be an overused example, but that Top WR from Bama was buried at OSU. Transfers to a place with more talent and shows out as one of the top offensive players in the NCAA. First round pick. Sometimes a change of scenery, a new system, or just an opportunity are all a kid needs to shine. I’d say go get him. Talented. Let the chips fall where they may.
Would love this, but would he transfer to a school searching for a new coach (if Butler goes that direction)? No.
This screams groce for me. Lots of excitement and high hopes than a big bummer. Sent from my iPhone using Butler Hoops mobile app
This is seemingly odd....not sure if it's just desperation or what but this isn't usually a place we throw our hat in.
