Multiple NBA teams have players 6'1" or under. Boston 3, Toronto 3, Pacers 2 ? In fact after research only 2 teams do not have players 6'1" and under. Most have a couple on their roster.

KB to Boston? I hear their coach and a player have a Butler connection and know how to use people the right way.

No disrespect to Baldwin, but I’d venture most of those guys are point guards. He isn’t. Yet.

So what is the story on AT's injury? Last night came as a bit of a surprise to me. Is it anything serious?

    Day to day...I understand.

Was this a result of the way he landed in the Nova game? Or was it something different? Do we even know that much?

The fall was my understanding. He has some tendon issues. He was ruled out just prior to the game according to LJ.

I finally broke down and subscribed when The Athletic had a 50% off sale on an annual subscription. Have to agree the articles are superb.

AT’s jumper looks a million times better than it ever did before. If he can shoot that shot with confidence all year, we might surprise this year.

Saw Aaron today before practice too—kid’s putting in work. He has put on more muscle and his hair is longer too. More physically imposing.

He would be my sleeper for an all Big East team. Perhaps even first team. I have thoroughly enjoyed AT throughout his first three years at Butler and can't wait to see his growth this season. Dude has grit, intelligence, and a work ethic, you simply can't sleep on a player like that.

Any time a take a guest to a game or watch with a relative newbie, I always suggest watching him on defense. Impressive, inspiring, relentless.

He's the one I would most want to stick around for the extra year. He may be one of the most important players of BU lore just in terms of his leadership.

Yes. I catch myself just following him on defense when watching games. I did the same with Nored.

All I can say is, UMMM YESSSSSSS!!!!!!!
Last year he added the ability to convert at the basket consistently.
Man, if this year he can have a consistent mid range pull up?
I'm trying not to get carried away with what might happen if he decided to stick around next year. But I'm with you I.J.R, having a player like him set the tone for the team on the court is invaluable.

*whispers* He shot 56-for-100 (56%) in at-the-rim situations last year after being 64-for-98 (65.3%) the year prior. He only struggled as a finisher as a freshman.

This video is great, but it's also offseason footage that we shouldn't get too carried away with. I'm not expecting Thompson to change his game dramatically to take pull-up mid-range shots. The improved form, though, does give me hope that he could be closer to 70% from the line. That would be a much-needed development considering his free-throw rate.
