Reading a variety of sports rumor websites, Akinjo appears to want to play for Gonzaga, and they have room for him next year. He's from Richmond Ca., so that would be a lot closer to home for him.

Akinjo's name appeared on the sexual harassment document that whatever organization had going around. But he is not part of the legal drama of the other 3, he's going to have to explain himself for Few to take him

I'm sure there is more to come on all this, and I can only read what is out there - but one school of thought says he wasn't directly part of the harrassment complaint, but you are right - even indirectly will be an issue with most good programs.

They have walk-ons and two scholarship players who have not yet played a game this season. Eleven players have played this season, of whom 4 are no longer with the team.

Akinjo and LeBlanc left the team about 10 days ago. In the course of reporting on this, the media did some digging and discovered that LeBlanc, Gardner and Alexander all had outstanding legal complaints (and, in some cases, temporary restraining orders) filed against them. Apparently there was no legal action involving Akinjo, and his departure was thought to be voluntary based on concerns about his role on the team. Some Georgetown fans wondered why Gardner and Alexander were allowed to play while the complaints were pending against them, and 68 university faculty members this week signed a letter to the president of the university criticizing the university's handling of the situation. Gardner announced his intention to leave today in a standard statement in which he thanked Coach Ewing and wished the Hoyas well. Alexander announced his intention to leave today in a twitter post in which he thanked Coach Ewing but ripped the university for its handling of the situation.

Akinjo started all 7 games (averaging 30 minutes per game) before his departure, averaging 13 points, 3 rebounds, 4 assists and 2 steals per game. (Akinjo is currently on an official visit at Arizona.) Leblanc played in six games, did not start in any, and averaged playing about 19 minutes per game. He averaged 7 points and 3 rebounds per game. Alexander played in 9 games (13 minutes per game), not starting any, and averaged 4 points and 3 rebounds per game. Gardner played in 8 games (10 minutes per game), not starting any, and averaged 3 points and 3 rebounds per game.

Since losing 4 players for various reasons, Georgetown is 3-0, with wins over Oklahoma State, SMU, and Syracuse.
