This is a good offer based on his shooting ability alone. I had an opportunity to see him at Seymour in the Semi-state. I had no idea who he was but he stood out He has ample time to improve other areas of his game. He possesses great range and fairly quick release with his shot.

Hope he fills out more. Pretty thin. Like his GM though.

He has the look of a guy you would play pick-up against and think lol I'm guarding the goofy white dude. Then he gets buckets.

He belongs on an early 2000s Creighton roster.

Rabjohns tweeted an update not too long ago. Offers from Nebraska, X and now us. Sounds like he will be waiting to see what interest he gets from teams this winter.

I posted this a week or so ago:

X the latest to offer 2019 SG Alex Hemenway of Castle. Current offers in addition to X include Creighton, Clemson, Nebraska, Evansville, Belmont, and Valpo.

I’ve seen him several times, when he’s on, he can fill it up. Good BBIQ. It will be interesting to see how he performs without Nunge to take the pressure off.

Most recently Hemenway was offered by Butler, and he was impressed with what he saw on his unofficial visit to the school.

"I loved the visit it was great," said Hemenway of Butler. "We got a little tour of the campus and saw their first exhibition game. Also I got to meet with Coach (LaVall) Jordan and I like how he is all about business and be ready to come and take over Butler and make it his own program."

Also talked about how he liked his Xavier visit and was impressed by Coach Mack and Travis Steele, and enjoyed his visits to Purdue and Indiana, though those were more building relationships than about a formal offer and tours of the school. He's working on setting up visits to Ohio State and Creighton.

Thank you, Irishdawg. I often don't have access to those articles, so I just tee them up and hope someone can share the relevant info.

I spoke to a local basketball coach on Sunday he told me that Hemingway was extremely excited about his Butler offer. He told me that before the butler offer he was a heavy Xavier lean

A nice little jump down I69, but the coach was from Evansville. Evansville is no Indy but has a few nice players. I really wish Butler wouldve offered Nunge.

Nunge should prove to be a really good stretch power forward at Iowa. I only AH once during semi-state at Seymour, but he delivered big shot after big shot on the big stage.
