Maybe the question isn’t if he’s academically eligible. Maybe it’s if he actually exists.

 

OMG what is wrong with you people...For such a smart school there are a lot of dumb people with comments...

 

Look dawg, I don’t want this to be anything more than an injury here, but I’m becoming more skeptical by the day.

My cousin Jeb is a 4 time concussion surviver , and after seeing his recovery first hand I find it odd that nearly a MONTH has passed and he has yet to be seen with the team both on internet or in person.

I do not believe that it’s likely that he has been ordered to sit in a dark room for 24hrs a day a month after injury, which makes it odd that he can’t sit in a chair and watch his teammates for two hours.

Unless he had entire face transplant we don’t know about , I’d say I’m a little worried about the situation here . But for the teams sake, and AliAli’s sake, hopefully your right, and its just a
slower than normal recovery.

 

You can be skeptical all you want, but the FACT is there is nothing here to be worried about other than what this is...

 

If Ali is still recovering back home, then I’d say there is definitely something to be concerned about.

How can we R-E-L-A-X? He is nowhere to be seen! Someone needs to call or text Thad and find out how Ali is doing and whether he will return this year.

Lukas needs to investigate ASAP!!!

I asked last night at postgame if there are updated timelines for the injured. Matta: "No. I'll be honest, I saw the docs in there looking at a couple of guys so we'll see when I get back there. Hopefully sooner than later."

That's all we know from the program. I'm not going to speculate on things that I don't have explicit answers that I'm allowed to report on. Nothing else that I can really do but keep asking.

I'd follow the R-E-L-A-X advice, even with how poorly my Packers are playing.

 

Well Ali wasn’t there last night, so now I’m confused about who he was referring to the docs looking at. There were guys banged up during the game last night?

 

Don't know. Ali wasn't there, but Wilmoth and Mulloy were, so maybe looking at them? It was the last question of the presser, so I couldn't follow-up.

I won't be in Hinkle on Saturday, so updates this weekend will be up to someone else if they can get them.

 

Even though Pierce continued to play, I could imagine there might have been some soreness from when that guy took his legs out on what would have been a highlight play.

Speaking of Pierce, one positive of the injuries/health situation is that he is getting some run. While he is able and does things others can't, he still does a fair number of things he shouldn't. I don't know if I'm the only one who thinks this, but it seems like he gets caught, defensively, on screens more than he should which leads to guys getting open. Sometimes, he's able to recover and shoot the gap but it's something I'll be watching. I also hope his offensive game can continue to develop because, if it does, we all know his potential. His rebounding has been great!

For those wondering about a summary, article says, per his coach, Ali is versatile on both O and D. Can guard the 1-4, worked his tail off to become the shooter and player he is today. Also says he is practicing, and is expected to play soon. Whether that is Saturday was not stated.
