That sucks. Praying for strength for Andrew and Sam. You beaT it once you can do it again!
Man that's rough. I'm thankful they found a bone marrow donor. An acquaintance of mine needs a transfusion and they've been unable to find a match.
Stay strong big fella!
Everything else pales. Should not happen at this age.
I understand your passion against cancer. However the Smiths are devout christians, perhaps your descriptive words could have been better. Am praying for both, God willing they will beat this. tc

A bone marrow registry and blood drive is being held in Andrew's honor on Tuesday, September 29th, between 4pm and 8pm. I really, really encourage other Indianapolis fans to make the trip to Hinkle that night. Great cause.
The event yesterday was pretty nice and seemed to have pretty good attendance despite the crummy weather. A bunch of players showed up towards the end of my time there. Saw Dunham, Kelan, McDermott, and Fowler. Emerson Kampen, Smith and Smith's wife were there as well.

Just found out our donor is a 20-year old male. Young man, I don't know you, but I love you & your selfless soul
Well, it's time to start the praying. Let's hope he pulls through this. Good luck yo.
Andrew's siblings have announced a social media campaign to encourage him and Samantha through the bone marrow transplant process. Here's your opportunity to support the big guy!

An unreal process. Keeping him (and you too Willis) in my thoughts and prayers.
Your selfless act of love….Thank you. Don't know you or your situation, but if you ever want to go to a game I have 2 seats for you (really good seats) & here's the kicker….YOU PICK THE GAME. tc
Tweeted by Samantha today. Still have miles to go, but this is great news!

And just like that, the transplant is complete. All is well, everything went perfectly. So thankful for this day.

It's been 33 long days in the hospital, but we finally get to go home today! Praise the Lord & prayers for a smooth & safe transition home!

Andrew has slept ALL day but woke up for the final seconds of the game, watched the last play, smiled, & put his first in the air. #GoDawgs
Sounds like he's about ready to call it. Big ups to his contributions and here's to hoping that he goes peacefully and without too much pain. Cancer is a *****. My grandmother has had it since last Spring and it has now spread...She's going through hell but she's 89. This kid is 25 and has had his life snapped from him. Cruel world man, cruel indeed.
Keep the big fella in your prayers, if you're of the praying sort:
