Great content. Thanks!
Harrison in Evansville.
I might be too late.
loads of endorsements from coaches around the country today
This is fantastic!!!
The last week has been a damn good week for butler.
I paid attention to Utah state being I live close and my wife’s family is from there.
There whole coaching staff was exceptional and they brought in a lot of good players.

I'm sure this will be met with the cautionary pump the brakes, but time to start getting excited about the possibility for the next 5 years!!

Geez pump the brakes man
Appears to be a solid hire! Great to see
Dude looks like he could still play...
Just imagine- If it weren't for BigHoss and his determination to call out Butler's lack of urgency in hiring a new staff member, we might not have gotten one as distinguished as David Ragland. It appears everything is working out, and now we are indebted to BigHoss, thank you sir.
Just got off the phone with Coach Rags. Awesome interview, great dude.
I still have my full-time job and then transcribing/organizing will take some time, but I'll have that (free) article up tonight or tomorrow.
Update: Article will go up tomorrow (April 28th) morning. Just finished it.
I haven’t seen much about him as a recruiter. Do you know how he’s regarded in the industry in that area?

Based on what I've read, heard, and what he said today...I think he has really good connections and relationships in Indiana, Illinois, Ohio, and Kentucky. He's an outstanding relationship-builder by all accounts.
Looking forward to it!
Yeah, I’m interested to see if some new offers come out in the next week or so due to the hiring. Not expecting any offers to kids from Utah, but you never know
It is a 25-minute interview. Transcribing is going to take some time. Probably will end up having to leave a fair number of comments out I think, but it was an awesome interview. Will post on Twitter and here when I've finished up the article.
Sounds like one of the remaining scholarships has been locked up by Lukas (How's your jumper?). It's a lot of fun when coaches can be that engaging, hopefully it translates to the recruiting trail as well as developing the guys Butler's already got.
My jumper is the only thing I have any confidence in. I get a lot of shots up. But then comes the being short, out-of-shape, and overall lack of athleticism. There is a reason I played volleyball in high school and club in college haha.
Can you put it up as a podcast? Tons of good podcast platforms out there. You could make a whole thing of it... interview other coaches during the off-season.
