This is just for general discussion about other schools in the A10 or conference alignment rumors that aren't significant enough for their own thread or anything like that. You can post other schools recruitment news in here as well. I'd like to turn this into an entire sub-forum, but for now I'll start it out as a simple topic and see how much it gets used.
RE: Around the A10 Central Michigan transfer Austin McBroom announced that he is going to be playing for St. Louis. He averaged 10.9 points per game last season as a freshman and shot 42.1% from behind the arc
RE: Around the A10 That is a pretty big pickup for UMass. Hopefully they can build on their success this year and be a consistent quality team on the schedule.
RE: Around the A10 Just curious as to how somebody from North Hollywood, CA found his way to Central Michigan.
RE: Around the A10 Ben Weixlmann ? @BWeixScout No surprise here, but nice get for UD. RT @GoodmanCBS Dayton has landed Ohio State transfer Jordan Sibert, source told CBSSports.

RE: Around the A10 VCU to the A10 in place of Charlotte is picking up steam... sounds like it's going to happen.
RE: Around the A10 VCU and George Mason are tied at the hip politically in Virginia. I can't see any scenario where one comes without the other, especially now that ODU is moving to the CUSA.
RE: Around the A10 Per gmuhoops Twitter:? @gmuhoops According to CBS VCU was chosen over George Mason to fill the vacant A10 spot.
RE: Around the A10 I'm not sure I follow the logic behind that. If anything, I'd say this helps us keep Brad for longer until an elite job opens up.
RE: Around the A10 Ben Weixlmann ? @BWeixScout Between Xavier, SLU, Dayton, Butler, VCU, St. Joe's, UMass, and Richmond, one of those teams will finish 8th AT BEST in A-10 in '13. Crazy.
RE: Around the A10 It was likely only a matter of time before too. Fran's logic is that now he's going to have to go after a different kind of recruit, more travel, more demands on his time to raise money for the program that it will end up being like a BCS job, so he might as well go to a BCS job where he'll have more built in advantages to begin with. In some ways, yes, it does make it more likely, but in other ways, it makes it less likely.
RE: Around the A10 He could have gone a number of times already. He will always have offiers. This has to keep him longer. He does not benefit from more exposure. He is already the number one target of everybody.
RE: Around the A10 Fran is a blithering idiot. There were 1 or 2 jobs 2 months ago, there were 1 or 2 jobs yesterday, and there'll be 1 or 2 jobs tomorrow.
RE: Around the A10 LOL @ Fran. -Stevens & Smart already make BCS comparable salaries -Butler & VCU are better programs than 3/4 of BCS teams -The A-10 is now essentially a BCS conference Stevens & Smart will only leave for a Top 10 job IMO. Thankfully it looks like almost all of those programs have coaches who will be entrenched for a while.
