Marshall had a severe limp in our game. I was amazed that he was permitted to play on.

Are we the only team in the Big East who can not view this season as a positive?

Villanova- tourney team after losing a ton from last year
Marquette- top 25 ranking nearly all year and tourney birth
St Johns- depending on how they finish, this could change but at least on the verge of getting into the dance
Seton Hall- dancing after again losing so much from last year
Creighton- on the bubble and likely NIT berth
Xavier- lost 4 seniors and a coach, with a nice close to the season and possible NIT opportunity
Georgetown- significant growth from Ewing’s year one and was close to the bubble before the DePaul game
DePaul- actually competitive and will have at least a .500 record for the first time since 2007

Maybe Providence? But even then they at least have Ed Cooley and they did just sweep us...

to add Providence lost there best player and freshman Reaves for a large portion of the season and dealt with other minor injuries. The future looks bright for next year with them. Reaves is a stud and should be Freshman of the Year

I think everyone of those schools have the same HC the last three years.

Marquette just lost their fourth straight. I believe they are also the only team to lose senior game.

I know DePaul is the feel good story of the BE this year, but I'm glad Creighton is winning tonight. I really hope they make March Madness. It just keeps adding legitimacy in my opinion that BU, X and CU help make the "new BE" a solid conference (even though I despise that identity as condescending).

If you believe in the adage that it’s hard to beat a team 3 times in one season, then Butler really set itself up nicely for a run in the BET.

2016 Providence team beat us 3 times. Ben Bentil went off for 38 at MSG as Butler single handedly moved him up the draft board that year.

I was in attendance for that.

I was so excited to go to MSG. I was in Brooklyn to cover Dayton for student media in the A-10 tourney and the schedule worked out for me to get a decently cheap ticket and ride the subway over to Manhattan. Was rather proud of myself for navigating NYC by myself the first time.

The game itself was sad. But man, MSG is pretty cool. Exceeded my expectations.

It was mostly tongue in cheek. But also 2013 SLU and 2012 Valpo.

I was there as well. The A10 tourney is an annual event for a group of my UD friends. Thankfully it is back in Brooklyn so I can attend MSG too. When both tournaments are in NYC, it is an amazing 4-5 days of college hoops. Not to mention dining and drinks. Going to the Big East afternoon session on Thursday. Hoping Butler makes the first game. No comparison in venue, attendance, and quality of play between Barclay Center and MSG.

Georgetown has three on the BE all freshmen team. Now that’s recruiting.
