That guy obviously puts facilities as a major factor in his decision....
I can't keep all these kids apart...is he the one with the connection to DePaul? Because if not, "one of these things is not like another..."
St. John's loses another one:
Today the Wall Street Journal announced their annual ranking of the top 800 colleges. The following is their rankings of the BE schools:
St. John’s 253
Seton Hall 332
Here is a pretty deep dive on all ten Big East teams prospects for this season.https://www.three-man-weave.com/3mw/big-east-preview-2020
This appears to be a good assessment of Butler. To me the difference between Butler being in the top three or bottom three isn’t talent or lack thereof. It’s grit, leadership and determination all three of which were missing last year. Will they have it this year?
Did not see Bryce Golden listed on the roster, I know he is still at Butler and will contribute to the season and where the Dawgs wind up. At least I hope so.
Huh? He’s listed on roster.

It seems all the conferences that are going to 20 games are doing this. I don't like it, but I would hate it even more if an extra game was getting packed in to January, February or March.
DePaul getting Charlie Moore for this year.
I'm not saying they're going to be good, but they'll be better than most lower-third teams from other power conferences. No days off in the league.
Butler voted 8th in the Big East. (Or as David Woods tweeted "nearly 9th"). Not surprising, seems pretty fair given how last season went. Although I do expect them to finish better than that.
Also, Myles Powell voted Preseason POY over Markus Howard.
Kamar voted 1st Team All-BE
I think 8 is fair. I really think 6 or 7 is the ceiling but 8 is about what I expected. That or 9th after the showing last season. This team is improved from last season so let's hope it shows out. Gonna be a tough run through this gauntlet.
It was pretty striking the gap between the top 7 and bottom 3. Coaches clearly think we are closer to the bottom than middle tier. Let’s hope this serves as motivation

This years team is much better suited to compete in the Big East than last years. This team could finish 5-6 imo if Nze, Golden, and Smits hold things down inside and Tucker and McDermott can stay on the perimeter. Lavall also has to do a better job of coaching late in games. That said this years team has a higher ceiling than some think but several things have to gel the right way.
