As we have witnessed often through the years, it's much easier for the experts to not do their homework...
Agree, don't forget Creighton too. They always seem to have a kid that towers above our guys and can shoot from deep. I'd be giddy if Kapke is anything close to a BE stretch 4.
We've debated the impact of Bizjac to death. Let's give some equal time to debating the impact Kapke will have. He dropped 35 points against Minnehaha yesterday. Highlights: He seems to have a body more conducive to BE battles than Turnbull. Thoughts.....
He looks fine, but it's impossible to know until he's actually trading blows with high major bigs. Turnbull looks to be a better shot blocker, but at least Kapke looks like he's got some versatility offensively. Real question is if he can hit long twos or mid-range floaters. Vital to our offense.
Semi-serious question, are the rims lower than regulation in that gym...? Those first couple of running dunks were impressive verticals.
Golden could get up to when he was running or was able to take a gather step. Not so much from a standing position. He looks to have more of an offensive repertoire and should should a lot better from 3 than Bryce did. Whether, or not, will be enough to get him meaningful playing time during his career Sent from my SM-G977U using Butler Hoops mobile app
He really really reminds me of a poor man’s Drew Timme. In his O game and how he moves on the court. That said, his impact next year will be basically zero. Like Turnbull this year but less.
Yep. That’s something I noticed about Bizjack from day 1, he’s grateful and seems like a good egg/teammate/etc. I think he truly embodies the Butler Way. Truthfully I don’t know as much about Kapke but if he approaches Crabascz level of impact, I’ll be really happy. If he surpasses this, then great props to Thad. He's starting to look more fluid than my first impressions. Sent from my SM-G977U using Butler Hoops mobile app
