this is such an odd situation. I'm really not sure what to think of it. If Butler really isn't recruiting McIntosh because of loyalty to Bennett, then I would be pretty surprised. Really doesn't seem like a Butler thing to do

I don't think we are offering mainly because we are in alot better situation with Macura than people realize. I think we are going to get him. McIntosh isn't what we are looking for in a point guard IMO. I think Hoops fan is spot on about Xavier. That would be a good situation for McIntosh. Mack could use him like he did Brad Redford.

Logwood and McIntosh are heavily considering a package deal. So they would more than likely end up at Auburn. If they
decide to go to different schools then I could see him ending up at X.

Hurley from Rhode island offered him earlier today also. Don't see him considering that though....

You know who I feel bad for in all of this? Greg Lansing. The guy was at every game McIntosh played in the live periods in the Spring.

I can see Butler's position on McIntosh. He may be a great shooter and may fit in nicely. However the strain on the chemistry may not be worth it with or without a walk on. There just seems to be more to the story. Perhaps the Dawgs can find a comparable talent without the story.

I agree. ISU was fun to watch this year and Lansing seems like a stand up guy. I thought their 14 class with Mac as an anchor and maybe grabbing Mercer and a decent point would have been formidable in the MVC in a few years

If this is true I wouldn't mind trying to get both of them. Logwood would bring in some much needed athleticism and never hurts to have a shooter like McIntosh.

Ok, well, this is hypothetical, but if we did offer, does anyone have a good idea of where we'd stand with him?

Bryant McIntosh with another gem in Cincy: 20 pts, 6 assists, alley-oop slam. This is how players blow up

Saw Greg Lansing at Fishers Fieldhouse today. Feel bad for the guy. But it sometimes happens....

If we're not even considering this guy because of the "Bennett" walk-on situation why not move this back to the archives. People can still post and follow his recruitment there, to other schools....but....he's never going to be in a Butler uniform, it appears.

    Clemson just offered him.

Butler Way: Can we move this back to archives? Pretty apparent Butler isn't offering.

Butler is showing even more interest in 2014 point guard, Bryant McIntosh. Could we see an offer come to McIntosh in a few weeks? I think so
