Better late than never. Normally appearing on Sunday, this week's look at Butler Bulldogs in the professional ranks is a day late due to Butler's victory over Princeton last night. Led once again by Rotnei Clarke playing down under, here is how your Dawgs fared:

    Rotnei Clarke (2011-2012) - 6'0" Guard - Illawarra Hawks - Australia
    Season Stats (9 games): 19.9 ppg, 3.2 rpg, 2.8 apg, 28.1 mpg
Clarke had yet another impressive outing this week, scoring 24 points, grabbing 8 rebounds, and handing out 4 assists to lead his Hawks (4-5) over the 36ers (4-5). He now leads the Australia league in scoring at just under 20 points per game. He is 30-62 (48.4%) from deep on the season.

    Shelvin Mack (2008-2011) - 6'3" Guard - Orlando Magic - NBA
    Season Stats (12 games): 5.4 ppg, 5.3 apg, 2.2 rag, 21.1 mpg
Mack started out last week with a matchup against Brad Stevens and the Boston Celtics. It didn't go well for the Magic (8-5), and Mack finished the game with 8 points and 3 assists. He did finish off the week with a pair of solid performance on the road. First he scored 9 points and handed out 6 assists in a victory at Phoenix on Friday, and then on Saturday he got the start due to injury and totaled 7 points and 8 assists in a loss to Denver. He is expected to return to the bench this week.

    Khyle Marshall (2010-2014) - 6'6" Forward - Larre Borges Montevideo - Uruguay
    Season Stats (6 games): 12.2 ppg, 4.2 rpg, 1.3 apg, 23.3 mpg
Marshall did not play this week in Large Broges (5-5) 81-58 blowout loss to Nacional (6-4). I am not sure of the reason why.

    Kellen Dunham (2012-2016) - 6'6" Guard - Crelan Okapi Aalstar - Belgium
    Season Stats (8 games): 6.1 ppg, 1.4 rpg, 0.9 apg, 17.1 mpg
Kellen continues to shoot the ball well. He was 3-5 from distance in Aalstar's (6-2) lone game last week, scoring 11 points in all. His team fell for only the 2nd time this season though, losing to undefeated Oostende in an 88-90 nail biter.

    Andrew Chrabascz (2013-2017) - 6'7" Forward - Crelan Okapi Aalstar - Belgium
    Season Stats (8 games): 9.6 ppg, 3.1 rpg, 0.5 apg, 22.1 mpg
Chrabascz didn't have one of his better games last week against the top team in Belgium. He was only 1-4 from the floor and didn't grab a single rebound. He did knock down all 4 free throws to give him 6 points on the evening.

    Mike Green (2005-2008) - 6'1" Guard - AEK Athens - Greece
    Season Stats (5 games): 12.4 ppg, 3.8 apg, 3.4 rpg, 26.2 mpg
The veteran Mike Green continued his steady play last week, scoring 12 points and dishing out 3 assists to lead AEK Athens (3-2) to a victory over Koroivos (3-2). This week Green will matchup against Panionios and Avery Woodson in a battle of Bulldogs.

Avery Woodson (2016-2017) - 6'2" Guard - Panionios ON Telecoms Athens - Greece
    Season Stats (4 games): 9 ppg, 3.5 rpg, 2.5 apg, 21.8 mpg
It wasn't a good night for Panionios (0-5) on Saturday as they got crushed by top ranked Panathinaikos (5-0) 89-66. Avery Woodson was a bright spot though, knocking down 3 triples and scoring a team high 13 points.

    Kethan Savage (2015-2017) - 6'3" Guard - Raptors 905 - NBA G League
    Season Stats (3 games): 1.7 ppg, 3.0 rpg, 0.7 apg, 16.7 mpg
Kethan got his feet wet in the NBA G league this week, although it wasn't a particularly productive start to his professional career. He is 2-12 in 3 games and has more turnovers (6) than points (5). Hopefully he can improve as he gets more comfortable at that level.

Note: Former Butler players Matt Howard (Israel) and Gordon Hayward (NBA) are also on professional rosters but are not currently playing due to injury.
