It was not Kelan's fault at all. It was a bad pass and a terrible play call from the coach.
I've tried--rather unsuccessfully of erasing that game from my memory.
And I believe Georgetown fans were saying that was probably the best size crowd they've had all year.
And that would damage the home win percentage. My point is that it's not clear why parity would help road teams win more than lack of parity.
Fans also tend to get fired up during better years, too. Fighting for a play-in game is different than a top-25 matchup.
To your point, though, I remember reading something about this when the Big-East-to-ACC schools split, about how it was a rude awakening because they were used to playing in NBA-style convertible arenas, which have wider seats further from the floor, as opposed to the on-campus right-on-top-of-the-action crowded courts. Obviously there are exceptions, but that one always stuck with me.
Sju -4. Take it.
I'm not following. Nova dominating the conference for five years is an example of parity? And this shows that parity leads to road teams winning more? And that's why Big East teams have won more on the road the last five years than in most other conferences?
If that was the worst play in Butler basketball history, then what the F do you call this??? The look on Nored's face is priceless
Shelvin is so fortunate he missed that free throw and they committed a similarly dumb play on the rebound. It really was the worst Butler play I've ever seen in a big moment.
This was fun. Man, I miss running actuall defense.
Is that the game where PJ was single handily dismantling St. John's until he said something to someone in the the crowd and drew a technical? He went stone cold after that.
That was that game...
Better keep the clock running in this ST B vs ST J or our game starts late... And it's a 29 point blow out...
Some people un the front row were giving butler a hard time, calling them Indiana Hicks, PJ said "I'm from NY" and got a technical.
Hope they delay the start so the Bonnie game ends
8:40 tip per Woods on twitter
