Hey everyone, didn't we want TFP to change his screen name? Looks like we got our wish!

LOL! I make my own soup and support the board you are writing a message on attacking me for it? Bend your mind around that... I live in NC so I use 70spf also if that makes ya feel any better. Basketball season and the closed fishing and cold and raining seasons overlap, so yeah I got some time on my hands as a Retired Marine this time of year. Block away or go to PM with further personal responses please. No internet tough guy stuff there, but it's a basketball message board and I come for basketball, not to pander to your ego. Become a VIP and support the board you are writing on it's not that expensive and you can get insulted for it!:p;)

I'm laughing BTW not mad, feel free to PM me even if you don't have an issue with me, I got the time!;)

Disagree with this. McD has excelled and David is just a sophomore who is excellent on defense and has two years left. Don’t think being hurt affected Fowler or Berry as much as physical and talent limitations. Berry also may not have wanted it

Marquette annihilating Providence at Providence this PM (Saturday 2/23). Marquette sure has it going. Kind of puts a perspective on the Dawg's performance. If Butler can keep up the effort and play level of the last handful of games...I will be satisfied...no matter how the rest of the season plays out.

And doing it without anything from Howard or John. Both Hausers and Anim having good games. They are becoming more of a complete team. Might do a little something in the tournament.

What about adding Shelvin Mack to your list? I think that one worked out pretty well. :)

Brad Stevens recruited Fowler and McDermott.

Of course Howard was 2-12 today but they still won easily.

To me the only thing holding him back is confidence. If you watch him in warm ups he doesn't miss.

They committed to Brandon after the 2014 season. Brad was already gone.

We have a team wildly dependent on the 3 ball and a pg that can't shoot. We have bigs that couldn't jump a weekday paper. We have a coach who has player development issues and is definitely green as a frog when it comes to coaching at this level. And we have such a lack of talent most of y'all scream to the heavens for a dude to get more run who has no offensive game whatsoever.

There are problems. They are everywhere.

Ah yes, the coach who multiple NBA players have specifically cited as being instrumental in their development...has player development issues.

Ha, was just going to post something similar.

Not only did Kelan have a tremendous senior season under him, but look at his position group while he was an assistant at Michigan:

Darius Morris (ESPN 100, 2 seasons at UM, now in NBA)
Tim Hardaway Jr (ESPN 93, 3 seasons at UM, now in NBA)
Trey Burke (ESPN 84, 2 seasons at UM, now in NBA)
Nik Stauskas (ESPN 76, 2 seasons at UM, now in NBA)
Glenn Robinson III (ESPN 18, 2 seasons at UM, now in NBA)
Caris Levert (ESPN unranked 2 star, 4 seasons at UM, now in NBA)
Derrick Walton (ESPN 30, 4 seasons at UM/3 with LJ, averaged 15.5, 5, and 5 as a SR)
Zak Irvin (ESPN 22, 4 seasons at UM/3 with LJ, averaged 14, 4.5, and 3 as a SR)

And the ones with the most success seem to be the guys that should be right in Butler's sweet spot recruiting wise moving forward (50-125).

Sounds like the description of a team that is last in the Big East and ranked around 100. Oh wait, that’s not right. Cmon Willis, it’s not great, but not that bad.

Just a thought, I know this is Brunk's 3rd year roster wise, but really his 1st year with extended minutes. Any chance he's hit that freshman wall?
