I didn't realize David Woods had moved to the four letter...interesting.

Unsurprisingly, we have been a much better team defensively (and offensively for that matter) when AT and KB are on the floor together. That scenario has not been all that common during conference play, and most of our wins and losses have happened correspondingly. Throw in CD's absence and the defensive plan from the beginning of the year has taken a pretty big hit.

Can one of you stats guys post what our assists per game avg is for our wins and what it is for our losses?

At least ESPN Bubble Watch guy still has us categorized as “Should Be In.”

He also said that if we would have won the Georgetown game, that would have moved us to a lock.

I'd rather see a "Has Jordan found our defense?" thread honestly.

I hate to say I told you so, but I TOLD YOU SO! If we do an 0fer we are bubblelicious, and I don’t mean wacky weed. I think the only way we do that 0fer is if one or both KB and AT are out for the year. So, it could happen.
Don’t give this crap about the committee doesn’t see conference records, they’re human and they know how a team is trending..... especially when it’s just up the road!

Sort of like "The Jury will disregard that statement."

I think the loss of David to go along with our lack of depth at guard has had a waaaay bigger impact on our defense than is generally acknowledged on here.

Agreed! He allowed us to match up in a bunch of different ways, and he always brought a ton of energy and intensity. Val said at the time that he got hurt that he had been a large part of the team's early success. I don't think he was just blowing smoke about that.
