Usually not until they see all the matchups.
O'Connell is a BE ref. Was at the game, BU crowd was not happy with the stripes today. Guess they looked worse in person?
After the atrocity that we experienced during the Xavier game in the Big East tournament - this felt like the refs were faultless today. Very far from the truth, but nothing that directly impacted the outcome either.
Wow, what a great win. Every expert wrong once again. Love it.
To anyone complaining that it wasn't pretty, are you kidding me? It is a Butler basketball and a tourney win, that is a thing of beauty.
Loved the gameplan and coaching adjustments. Slow pace, establishing Big C early, having Kellen attack in second half to get them in foul trouble, etc. Best move of the night was putting Kam on Taylor. That was genius and Brad-esque (you think coaching matters?).
Loved short bench, contributions from freshmen, and gritty efforts from Woods and Barlow. You realize we just beat Texas with Rose hurt and barely anything from him or Big C, right? Beautiful.
Anxious to see if Jones can play and how Holt matches us up with ND. Normally Jones would be on Grant but doubt he will have quickness to do so if he can even play. Barlow maybe? Or Woods?
Butler Basketball in March. How awesome.
What'she latest on Rosie?
Last I heard was "cautiously optimistic".
So do we have a new signature now?
He was actually right, just the other way around.
Tip times are here: http://collegebasketballtalk.nbcspo...ip-times-for-saturdays-ncaa-tournament-games/
Game 2 of the night session, which would presumably be a 9:40pm EST tipoff. Yikes.
Television is TBS. Brian Anderson, Steve Smith and Dana Jacobson on the call.
Thanks for the reminder.
Alright, which one of you joker mods let CigarBoy in here?
Oh God I just remembered Cigar Boy. Was he the guy who did the Butler jacket thread?
Cigar Boy used a thread on the Yuku Board to give this long running diary of his trip to the Republican National Convention. IIRC, he didn't say anything about politics the whole time but the fact that he was writing about the convention ignited a hilarious firestorm. While that was happening, he would just give details of the meetings he attended and the sandwiches he ate and of course, his awesome Cigars. I loved it.
He is now a state senator in Nebraska.
Oh and still don't know the BU section tomorrow? I have tickets, but just guessed where to sit. Ticket holders WTH?
