Trumper, what’s your end game? I don’t get your shtick. I know we don’t agree politically, and that’s ok. But tell us about yourself and why you come off so negative. Did you go to BU? I didn’t, PSU didn’t. When did you start following the Dawgs, etc. I honestly just want a feel for where you’re coming from. No malice, I just like the board and find people’s backgrounds interesting. Thanks.

Mind blown. They win by double digits and you still have a freaking bee in your bonnet? Is anything good enough for you?

They hit their shots - that is what kids on a high major program are supposed to do. Why do you act so surprised? They were able to get a lot of shot lots up, which was a byproduct of the defense. Enjoy it. I feel bad for your wife (or husband - not hating, if so) - cannot imagine how helpless they feel with your lofty expectations.

Maybe there are other decisions you have made in your life that are causing you to be so negative about beating a team by 15 points and playing better defense than at any point in the last three games.

Ball State grad. For about ten years I've been following Butler. I don't feel that I'm negative at all. I'm realistic and see the flaws of our coach and his staff. The kids came out ready to play today. I saw more effort from them today than the past three games. Our offense is so predictable and stagment. In order for us to win games we have to average 70 points or more. I don't see that happening often against Big East comp. If we are able to score that amount routinely than we have to play defense the way we did today in order to win games. I also have a hard time seeing that happening as well. I hope I'm wrong about coach Val. I hope he's the best coach that Butler will ever have, but I highly doubt that is or will be the case.

We live and die by the three. Substitutions are a head scratcher (put a player in for thirty seconds and take him right back out i.e. Jordan Tucker). Speaking of which, he was unhappy with the amount of time he was getting at Duke, do we think that he is happy with the time he is getting now? If this continues, I see him transferring again. We can win without him, but I like our chances with him way more. Coach Val's love for giving opposing teams head starts. The inability to recognize when to call a timeout to slow up or to simply change the momentum of the game. The lack of offensive plays we have. We simply pull our bigs away from the basket and shoot threes. Predictable and not efficient basketball.

All these things are frustrating to me and I see the potential of this team which adds to my frustration. Also, i had to pay the piper for our loss to IU this week at work. For those of you who know me. I'm one of the biggest Butler fans you will ever meet and I hate IU just as much. I had to wear IU gear for the day at work which was cruel and excruciatingly painful.

Simply put, I don't feel that Val is a good coach nor do I think he is what we need. Again, I hope I'm wrong but I really don't think that I am.

First, I want to thank you for seriously answering the question. This might have been the most rational post you have ever made.

Second, your analysis leaves much to be desired. There isn't enough time to explain differences to you.

I appreciate your passion. We will disagree on pretty much everything else if your post is legitimately how you evaluate the program.

Even the part about him being a Ball State grad? Did you literally mean "literally"?
