Yeah, I saw when they released it. I think there was even something on ESPN's college football coverage about it. Wouldn't be surprised if that gets televised on cable. And yes, it will be...not a close game. But that's okay.

Yeah I heard about this when it came out (I played from '05-'09). A bunch of us plan on going just because. Seems like a cool event, and from a reliable source the money is good.

Bump, because this game is tomorrow.

NDSU is ranked #1 in the FCS coaches poll. If you've watched any of their games in the past couple years, they're easily a higher-tier MAC team if they were in FBS. (Hell, they won at Iowa in '16.)

I hope Butler keeps it within 5 touchdowns.

Unfortunately (I guess) TV is local-only for NDSU, though there does appear to be an ESPN+ stream if you throw money at cable companies.

Yeah. Within 5 TDs will be nice. (Just keeping it real--not casting aspersions.)

And it'll be nice if we can put up points (any points) against NDSU's first team.

I have to think it’s at least a $1 million buy game. I think I read that somewhere. Or I’m drunk. Could go either way.

Thats above average\average for how much a power 5 conference team will pay to have others come to them. Would think around 600-700k... Either way can probably thank NDSU for the new scoreboard :)

Not sure it's relevant to North Dakota but Tennessee paid nearly a million to bring in Georgia State.

And yet the Panthers just went into Neyland Stadium and humiliated Tennessee, while collecting a $950,000 guarantee check along the way.

Butler did score 10 points in 14 seconds. So, there was a bright light! :D

for some reason wasting a fall afternoon watching Butler senior day football... why don't we just schedule a North Dakota State every week to keep cashing paychecks! It'd be more worthwhile than what I'm witnessing.
