So, looking ahead. Anyone know the BPI or KenPom rankings of Oklahoma or Stanford? I’m guessing we are rooting for Stanford since our SOS won’t really be an issue after the next 5 games? I don’t know much about either team, so who do we match up better with? Sent from my iPhone using Butler Hoops
In KenPom, Oklahoma is currently 29 and Stanford is 72. Sent from my SM-G975U using Butler Hoops mobile app
Kenpom just updated with our win, we are for the moment at 19th in a dead tie with Seton at 18th - the difference is in the 3rd or 4th decimal place,
Wow... does Oklahoma even want to play tonight? Down 14-0 under 16TO Sent from my iPhone using Butler Hoops
God I'll be honest watching Terry hurts. I wanted him really badly. He's just so smooth and intelligent out there even as a freshman. Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-G930A using Butler Hoops mobile app
Oklahoma coming out of the gate looking like hot garbage. Tyrell Terry’s looking really solid so far. Sent from my iPhone using Butler Hoops mobile app
I doubt Oklahoma has an Aaron Thompson though. Mark Smith was on fire coming into game tonight I think he had 1 point. I’m confident vs Stanford as long as our guards get after it Sent from my iPhone using Butler Hoops mobile app
Well, I thought shots from behind the line counted for 3. He nailed a solid 3 from the corner and looked really smooth. Then he went 1-2 from the line. Dawgs did a great job of shutting him down. He won’t be held to 4 points too often. Sent from my iPad using Butler Hoops mobile app
Ft. Myers next year followed by Maui then Atlantis. Sent from my iPhone using Butler Hoops mobile app
Definitely does. The kids want the big stage and are the two best non con tournaments every year. Not to mention, they aren't the worst places to visit while it's 30 in Indy.
True for in-season tournaments (after the Stanford win he's now 6-2, or 75%), but that doesn't count the two Crossroads Classic losses (unless you don't count those as "neutral court regular season games"), which put his record at 6-4, or 60%. Let's hope the in-season tournament success carries over to the Crossroads in a few weeks.
