I like the analysis of Tucker/McD. Both should have way more open shots when the ball gets kicked back out. I love Baddley as a role player...seems humble and every time I watch him it's like looking at a coiled spring...just waiting to take off.

    Go Dawgs!

The Athletic is stealing Lukas's idea, https://theathletic.com/1223497/2019/09/25/one-big-question-for-every-player-on-the-butler-roster/

The skinny, Butler should be a tournament team as they are more balanced. Baldwin could be more efficient, AT could improve outside shooting, Tucker finishing better at the rim, can Nze be a good rebounder in the BE, what's McD's role, will Smits show off passing, where's Baddley's offense, ditto David, do they have the body/health (Hastings, Golden, JMM), and I guess Battle has a funky shooting form - didn't realize that.

Both good breakdowns. I'd forgotten about Battle's shooting form...feel like I saw something about that around the time of his commitment. Agree that the team is more balanced. I think that in-game coaching remains another wildcard. LaVall's got much more ownership over this team's roster than the previous years. Time to shine.

That's not enough for a guy with Title's skillz. Make it cash AND a troll to be named later.

The one who stands out to me is McDermott. Glad to see he put on some needed muscle this offseason.

I believe this is the first full offseason with Johnson and it shows. We have needed this quality since forever.

I remember us all sitting around in amazement at this picture last year, and all the talk about how strong everyone looked. I'm not gonna put much stock in it this time.

Question assuming you are still planning a write up on JMM? You originally had him on the list and now don't see a date for him.

I’m still working on my plans for an article on JMM. I’ve been crazy busy with my move and such, so I’ve pushed back the ones that I need to do a bit more work on.

Whatever Lukas. You are a slack ass. It's not like anything huge is going on in your life. GET US MATERIAL.

Not to be a downer, but that photo can be a little misleading. Don't get me wrong; I'm very pleased they're invested in a S&C staff and I think there were notable improvements last year, but it's easy to make yourself look bigger than you normally would by taking the photo right after you finish a lift and by holding plates.
