Yeah, but sometimes I can’t help but wonder…Is that really what people want now? Most here are convinced that the coaching staff is an issue that can’t be salvaged without a complete overhaul, and stringing together a few wins here and there will only distract us from that realization. I’m not saying that is the case, I’m just saying the only way to be sure is seeing them at full strength and still struggle to win games. Let me make it clear though - I still *want* Butler to win, I really think it’s important that these seniors take something positive away from this season before their careers ends.
I'd love nothing more than to see Butler rip off a 7 or 8/10 winning barrage. But frankly, the big east is strong and they way this team is playing, it seems very unlikely. Glad to see Bo back but how effective will he be and what kind of minutes? Time shall tell.
I’ve watched several Georgetown games this year. They are bad. Like DePaul could sweep them bad. They will be favored because they are at home but if Butler can’t beat this team I don’t know what else to say. Butler has been playing much better as of late even though it didn’t result in Ws. Since we are no longer a bubble team I think this is a “Must Win” for the season. If we can’t beat this team, there isn’t really any other team left on the schedule that we can easily beat, solidifying us as basement dwellers. I fully expect AT, Golden, Nze, Harris, and Taylor to each get double figures if not close Sent from my iPhone using Butler Hoops
I don't know what to expect - just glad it's a 7pm tip. Will actually get to watch some of it. Honestly not sure if a win or loss means much in the greater scheme of things other than hopefully a confidence builder.
Looking at Butler’s upcoming schedule I think winning at Georgetown is crucial. A loss in DC with games @ VIL, @UCONN, home UCONN, & @PROV to follow, a 7 game losing streak seems likely. But a win at Georgetown with hopefully everyone healthy could give the team a boost heading into the gauntlet of the next 4 games. Sent from my iPhone using Butler Hoops

Who do you think would be our HC if for some reason LJ couldn’t go? Sent from my iPhone using Butler Hoops
Now that would be a stat I’d like to hear - name the last college basketball player-coach. Unless something odd happened on a one-off, I’d imagine the last one was in the 1930’s or earlier.
Would have to be way the hell before any rules were in place bc it would be effectively a voluntary coach bc the ncaa forbids paying players, or before that rule existed. Sent from my iPhone using Butler Hoops
I need after the Bama flop but...you will not find me laying on Butler no matter the case this season. I don't think I'll be against them tomorrow because Gtown is just that bad. It's gonna be a rock fight between midgets.
Willis, this one is a no brainer. Georgetown is bad, really bad. If we can't beat Georgetown, we can't beat anyone. Just bet Butler straight up. Groce and Hodges are back!!!
Last year we split the series at 1-1. The difference is they lost 75% of their scoring and 80% of their minutes while we have the same roster + Taylor. Sent from my iPhone using Butler Hoops
