Want. This kid is athletic and scores at all three levels. A nice stroke too with a shot he gets off quickly. Also, the clips are limited, but he shows good awareness and court vision.

Nothing on D, but offensively this kid can be a feature scorer. I don’t know what he size is, but from a player perspective he kind of reminds me of Myles Fox Morrissey.

It's always tough to pry kids out of North Carolina, especially if UNC or Duke come knocking. This kid already has a fairly impressive offer list. Glad we're at least in on the action.

Doesn’t hurt to have Rick Lewis planted in NC.

I wonder if he’d still actively refer players to BU now or OSU since the staff he’s more connected with is in Columbus.

    By that guy in Columbus.

Speaking of which, not the best place to be right now. What a tough situation all around.

Whether it’s right or wrong (and I honestly have no idea), I’m doubting Urban Meyer survives. I’m also wondering about Gene Smith, which might put Holtmann in a tough spot.

Think PSU meant the guy in Columbus took the scholarship away when he was coaching at Butler.

Duke has only had two local kids the last four seasons, both one-and-done players (Harry Giles and Brandon Ingram). UNC always has four or five home-state players but two or three are always junior/senior walk-ons promoted up from the JV team.

It's really the combo of UNC, State, Wake and Davidson that make it hard to get those guys just below the top level out. That said Kansas, Providence and Clemson have all been luring a good number of North Carolina boys across state lines the last few years.

Interesting footnote about McCorkle: David West's brother runs the Garner Road program and both West and John Wall played for him.

I know Rick has a deep respect for the Butler culture. As to any allegiance to Holtmann, I think that could be a bit complicated.

    This ^

And since I have nowhere to put this, anyone see the allegation today that DePaul offered Bowen 200k to play there? I mean DePaul is still terrible, but if anything came of that, they could really be brutal.
