Thanks for the highlight videos. I am pumped to have him committed, and hopefully he is the first of many recruiting wins for LaVall and company in the coming months.

Harris certainly sounds the part of a promising prospect. Too bad this coaching distraction took away from his limelight.

Wow, all time troll tweet here. Go back under your bridge, blanch.

Also I think you mean Eron, who by the way you criticized Butler for not being able to land.

Great defender and a winner? I watched him A LOT in high school. Nobody worth anything ever used either of those descriptions about Gordon. The kid was a walking red flag who was ranked highly because of his lineage and early physical maturation.

Also, I know I’ve gotten plenty of projections wrong, so I’m not trying to proclaim myself some great expert, but I have to look back and laugh at everyone who criticized me early on for wanting Kyle Guy over Eron Gordon.

But anyways, to not get completely sidetracked, I do agree he sounds a lot like Thompson. What I don’t understand is why that is being portrayed as a bad thing. How many Butler players have contributed as much as Thompson through their sophomore season? I’m not saying he’s Butler’s greatest player or anything, but I’d take another Aaron Thompson in a heartbeat.

I think people are thirsty for a lead guard that can be an offensive threat and just don't see that in Thompson, and are hoping for more than what they see in Thompson out of Harris.

While I completely understand your point, I do find it a little amusing when the player on pace to become Butler’s all time assist leader is considered a non threat. Thomas Jackson (Happy Birthday) had 258 assists after his sophomore year. Thompson currently stands at 260.

I’m cautiously optimistic AT will be a complete PG this year. Jared and others I see why you are big fans of AT . I want to get there to but was so frustrated last year seeing defenders back off him and dared him to shoot and defensively he seemed to regress.

I streamed this whole game. When given the reins offensively, he is much better than playing off-ball. He scored all 11 of his points in the first half and then made some nice reads for more of a playmaking role in the second half. His vision was definitely on display and he is quite creative passing the ball. Could have had a few more assists with quality catches and finishes around the rim from teammates but this was one of the better performances that I have seen from him so far (I think I've watched six full games now...so the sample size is small).

Harris is up to 39 assists to 11 turnovers in 12 EYBL games this year.

Yeah that’s way better than the earlier number that was reported.

Would like the 3p% to get to 30% though. Or I’m worried we’ll have another 4 v 5 situation.

Both numbers are real. He just struggled from the stripe in the first two sessions and was much better in Dallas. Stroke looks relatively comfortable. I’d expect he’s a solid 70+% shooter from the line.
