If his scoring has surpassed his playmaking he’s going to be a stud.

Chuck and his Gonzaga teammates are spending some time in SW Florida at the City of Palms Classic. They won their first game 74-66 over O'Dea (Seattle). Chuck had 18 pts/1 reb/4 ast and was 8-8 at the line. Their second game was a 76-67 defeat at the hands of the IMG buzzsaw. Chuck had 16 pts/4 reb/3 ast. They have one more game tonight against McEachern from Georgia. So far, he is averaging 17/2.5/3.5 on 46% FG (33% 3FG) and 10-10 from the line.

Been more and more impressed with Harris
I keep forgetting about him on next years class with all the other studs coming in but he is right up there with all of them and has seemed to improve his offense his senior year

Hoping him and Tate can play around 10 mins a game next year. If so, we won’t miss a beat. I’m now leaning that Tucker will stay as well.

Yeah - there was a quote by Tucker in an Athletic article following the Purdue game that sounded like he was all-in. Something to the effect of the emphasis is on D for every guy out there.

I think he has had a great attitude about him, even when not in the game. You can tell that the guys are buying in to the “team first” approach and feeding off each other really well.

I too believe Tucker is all in. He brought virtually no D1 experience when he became eligible last December and joined a team that was not very good. Tucker also is not demonstrative which one can read as disinterested. His effort on defense is all the proof you need that he is all in.

I have been extremely pleased with Tucker's growth over the past year. He could have easily mailed it in and checked out, but instead has put on his big boy pants, buckled down, and turned into a very solid contributor at both ends of the floor. Is there more that he can do? Sure. But to see where his is now compared to where he was at Crossroads last season is night and day. Many kudos to him for his continued success.

All aboard the Harris hype-train! If you aren't excited about this kid, check your pulse. He may never be quite the defender that Thompson is (who is?) but he is going to instantly surpass his offensive potential.

His arms are longer than I would have expected given his listed size.

Seems like a really smooth, no-nonsense type of player. Love it.

The venue where City of Palms is played is the same one Butler will play their Thanksgiving week event at next year.

Harris certainly has a nice first step. Hope some of AT's defense rubs off.

The more I see about the group coming in next year the more I see a talented group of winners who appear to be very high character. They are also going to have a year of tremendous leadership their freshman year from the seniors.

His mechanics still need work but it’s nice to see he has improved his jumper. He looks slimmed down a bit as well. Does a great job getting to the rack and is supposedly a solid defender

Gonzaga and Harris are ranked 20th nationally. Additionally MaxPreps is reporting his height at 6'3" but that is unofficial?
