Heard from an Iowa alum that Turnbull cancelled his Iowa visit and they're under the impression he is sticking with Butler.

FWIW Turnbull did cancel his visit to Iowa.

Not to disagree but the publisher of The Hawkeye Report stated the visit was cancelled as late as 9:32 pm. central time. Jus sayin...

The Iowa 247 board said it was cancelled as well. That was posted on the 18th and that it was from his side and not Iowa’s as to why it was cancelled.

 

From this morning:

 

Lukas in the Connor thread said he spoke to Connor and he said he canceled it. We will see what comes of it.

 

As usual, I misread the time. In deed, it was posted at 9:32 am. The overall consensus was that Turnbull has made a decision or is close to it. Speculation on the Iowa boards is he will pop for BU, which means very little at this point. There is some panic over Iowa's need for post players. I would expect an announcement relatively soon though.

 

Just to clarify, I only talked to Connor about his Butler visit in that post. The "I was told he canceled the Iowa visit" was what I was told by a reputable source around the Iowa program. I have no reason to believe it wasn't accurate, but just clarifying that that wasn't directly from Connor himself.
