Good for him, but could he have played here? Perhaps if he took his academics more seriously.

Still don't think he would have gotten his shot to play here if he had stayed. Even if he potentially could have played at this level. Glad to see he's getting minutes right away at Indiana State. His numbers are sub-par this year (28% shooting and 25% from three) but he's playing 19 minutes per game and getting real experience, and still only a freshman eligibility wise. He's going to be very very good in 2-3 years.

Always heard it was him struggling mightily in practice that was the biggest factor.

I saw him in person in 2-3 high school games and 5-6 AAU games. Small sample size but seemed to have trouble with his handles (turned ball over quite a bit in high school games against fairly week opponents). He also didn’t seem to be a marksman from the 3 point line in games I caught of his.

Wish him best at Indiana State and hope who has great 4 year career there but am quite all right with fact that he decided Butler wasn’t the best fit for him.

Over last ten games: 17/32 on 3’s his last 10 games including 11 for his last 16.

    1.51 points per shot.

Meanwhile the 3 Indiana colleges in the MVC are dead last in the standings.

Is the “chin beard” a thing? Notice on some Dawgs.

So apparently Gregg Doyel is writing an article on Cooper. Not sure what he will have to say about his BU experience but hoping Doyel avoids any sensationalizing.
