So now it's time for him to become a grad transfer and come back to Butler, right?

It will be interesting to see the response he gets. Brown might end up being one of the better scorers available. No idea if we'd be interested, but Holt's personality would be much closer to Stevens than BM's was when he left. Still think we need a PG in the last scholie with Lewis graduating though.

That would be weird. Anyone know of a guy who transferred from one school to another, only to transfer back to the original school like that? Brown had a season at NM. Wouldn't mind his 18.8 a game for one season.

Him and Martin seem like an inefficient combo out on the wing. But that's a hell of a lot of scoring power. Baldwin/Brown/Martin in the backcourt? I would have to think really hard about taking a guy back that transferred out, even though the program is in a completely different place now, but that has to at least be worth thinking about, right?

I doubt he would have much interest coming back honestly. I also don't think he is the player we should even target. We need someone that can run our offense. With Chrabs and Lewis gone, we need to replace that. I haven't seen any of his games, but averaging 3 TOs a game is awful (Martin is at 1.9 for comparison) and I doubt his passing is very good (something I think we lose big next year). I'd take a 1 or 4/5 over him.

Didn't feel like Brown was bought into the Butler Way when he was here the first time. Way too much me. Pass.

I have reason to believe this will be needing a new thread, so I'm starting it now.

You cannot be serious (John McEnroe voice).... I don't see the fit with all the wings on the roster year?

Wait wait. This guy averaged 19 points, 5 rebounds, and 3 assists per game and that wasn't even his best season and people don't want him?

Would take him back in a heartbeat. He stuck it out after Stevens left, then had all that wacky **** go down with Miller. Who can blame the kid for being 1/6 players to leave during that turmoil?

If he could rein in his desire to shoot a little bit and become a more efficient player ala Martin after coming off the bench he would do wonders for this team next year. Are people really not wanting someone who will be one of the best grad transfers on the market? Get over yourselves.
