Implying somebody is taken in by bright lights and glamour is not a compliment. It means they are superficial.
Per this article, Pitt, Illinois and Arizona are trying to get involved even though he plans on cutting his list more soon. https://basketballrecruiting.rivals...al&utm_source=twitter.com&utm_campaign=buffer
Arizona has 13 CB predictions for Brandon Williams, a 5* PG out of CA. Doubt Weaver would consider them if they were already heavy favorites for another high end PG.
Agreed. That's my ideal class as well. With that said, I don't see how we don't land a monster class even if it's not those two. It's incredible how many highly rated guys we are in the mix for and saying Butler is recruiting them the hardest. The coaching staff is doing incredible work.
Yeah, that's about as good as we can possibly do given need + targets. Sent from my iPhone using Butler Hoops mobile app
God if we land both Weaver and Bingham combined with what we have coming back, holy hamburgers Batman!
I agree, maybe someone will be convinced to pay their own way for a year? If a guy transfers because he transfers, then fine, but definitely not a fan of Crean'ing guys. I understand that it's reality at a lot of places but I think that should really be a last-case scenario.
They have two scholarships open and Jorgensen will graduate and have a 5th year of Eligibility left. Although I agree with you that forcing kids to transfer isn't ideal, I've never been a believer that 5th years should be guaranteed by athletic programs. They have immediate eligibility if they transfer so they aren't harmed the same as other transfers. Also, with the volume of young talent we have, the odds go up dramatically that somebody chooses to leave for better playing time.
Speaking from experience, no one is better off being the 13th player on a high major, than the top guy on a D-II team or the 3rd option at IUPUI. BU will have a third scholarship next year without making any waves.
And so it begins with holt continuing his recruiting where he was at Sent from my iPhone using Butler Hoops
