Tindley guard Eric Hunter (2018) will take an unofficial visit to Xavier on Saturday. He'll also participate in Purdue's elite camp next weekend.

Indianapolis Tindley's Eric Hunter is progressing well as he begins his sophomore year. Colleges are taking notice. http://ny2lasports.com/article_one.aspx?articleid=3130

2018 Eric Hunter visited Butler. I don't think I recall any Butler interest being mentioned here in the past.

I think I'm going to be a huge fan of Hunter. Not only is he long and skilled, but he has excellent awareness and is definitely a leader on the court. He seems to me to have those Butler qualities everyone loves.

He just had a turnover in the final minute that almost cost his team the game but came back down and hit 2 FTs with 2 seconds left to send it to overtime here at IndyBall.

There are a whole lot of smart, athletic floor generals right here in our own back yard. Maybe even Hunter or someone else. No, not Top 150. But there is no excuse for Butler to hit the floor without a "real" point guard. If hero ball is going to be Holtman's offense of choice, we really do need someone out there to bring a little basketball common sense and game management.

Can we retire the term "hero ball"? What in the hell does that even mean?

FUK, The bigger question is, can BU retire that type of play in the future???

If Butler has the 14th best offense in the country every year I really don't care what style of offense they run.

Perhaps there is a shift going on in basketball that will be more focused on shooting threes and less pg focused, you can see this in the number of three's that Golden State and Nova take. Finally coaches are seeing the benefits of the three point shot. This may explain why CH is focusing on recruiting shooters and less on a pg. If you have great ball movement, good three point shooters and bigs that can rebound the need for a top pg lessens.
