Eugene Brown - 2020 Small Forward (Ohio State)

If it's just a story about his upcoming OVs and not mentioning his overall list, then it makes sense not to list Butler since he's already taken his OV here... I'm not ready to archive this yet. Not that I'm that confident, but just a week or so ago he posted photos/videos from his Butler visit.

 

My guess is this (crystal ball willis)...

Coles commits...Brown and Scooby go elsewhere, we pocket the 5th to get what will be a solid grad transfer wing in the portal after next season.

 

IF (Big If) we don't get Scoob or Brown, neither of which have I lost my optimism regarding our chances, we definitely need to pocket the scholly unless someone of equal fit and ability comes along. No need to bring in anyone that is not a big time target.

Agreed. Saying that I hope they are still looking at a couple possibilities....but not just random dart throwing.

 

Can Butler go to his home and do an "in home visit"? Do they save that for later?

And I may have heard he's not too excited about their offer. That could be BS...we'll see but word is he kinda shrugged at it. No visit set or anything. I, personally, would have thought he'd be a great fit and be very attracted to Auburn. But whispers are he's not that into them. Pearl has a way though...

Jesus Christ is he an attention seeker. Freaking countdown clock.

 

I get that kids are kids, but the way he loves all this attention, needing to post multiple posts about upcoming "cut lists" leads me to believe he's going to want the attention of a school like o$u or uga or the like. Too bad. Wanted him and seemed likely at one point, but ready to move on.

Then UGa should be off his list. Basketball is a complete afterthought, even with Crean there, on campus. No matter how good of a team he puts together, the men's basketball team will be fighting with gymnastics for Dawg fans interest behind football, spring football and baseball.

I prefer guys who are a little more humble, a little more workmanlike, but there is absolutely a place for kids with swagger and kids thrive on the reaction.
