How do people determine the "face value" of their tickets?

I just looked at Stubhub to see what similar one were selling for. If you don't think it's a good deal then it's pretty easy to message me and ask for a cheaper price.

You are aware Florida is unranked and this game isn’t sold out yet right? Hell, there are lower level tickets on stubhub for like $80. I’m all for trying to make some money on tickets but you must be upcharging like 500% face value as my tickets (albeit not as good) are like $18/ticket in the 200s.

Trying to get a fellow board member to cough of $600 for 1 game is just cruel. I don’t even know I paid that much for my season tickets

They are the cheapest tickets in the lower level mid court. I paid more than $150 for them back before the season started. Cry me a *ucking river and move on. The cheapest 200 level ticket right now is $45. Face value means nothing. It's whatever people are willing to pay. Again, if you're not interested then move right along.

My question was how do people determine face value for their tickets, as stated in my previous post. There's no price printed on my season tickets. So I wanted to know how others determine their value (cost of ticket plus donation? etc.).

I took the total ticket cost divided by 19 which includes the exhibition games. That is what I received for the amount paid.

Yeah, your donations should not be included in your face value of your tickets.... Just the total cost of what you pay fro divided by 19 games.

You can definitely include your donation into that equation if you'd like... In many cases those tickets were not available without the donation...

Who cares? The tickets were posted and the tickets sold. Clearly someone thought they were appropriately priced.

The tickets are worth what someone will pay...it’s not complicated...

Hinkle has it right - as we all learned in Economics 101 - the correct market price occurs when the demand coincides with the supply.

And nowhere did Snoop say he wanted face for the tickets. As potential buyers are options were 1) buy them at the asking price, 2) offer less and maybe Snoop is willing to sell for that price or 3) ignore the post.

I love when there is too much time in between games causing us to debate just about anything.
