You folks were recommending the Blackstone grill so I bought my son one. It is the bomb. Even better he does the grilling. I do want to say thank you. It is a cooking tool without limitations.

I love my black stone. I’ve done hibachi, Philly cheese, full course breakfast etc. so good that I had a four burner - took that one to the lake for entertaining and ended up buying a new three burner one for home. Just need to get all the accessories.

Last night he made crepes for steak and chicken tacos. Patty melts, breakfasts. and shrimp last fall that tasty. It's very versatile. He tries recipes off you tube. His culinary skills are vastly superior to mine. I tend to be more of a baker.

Thida Thai out in the 'Burbs (Smyrna). A bit of a haul to get into downtown just for sushi. Wild Wasabi is good, but man I miss the Sushi Nazi. Probably the best in town hands down.

The fact that there is a place called "sushi nazi" is absolutely hilarious. It's basically "let's take our world war 2 fronts and make it into a restaurant".

    Pretty dynamic.

Yeah, the day they closed, I shed a tear. It was one of my downtown go-tos.

Nah, it’s been a while. 2014. He went to work at Acme, not sure if he’s still around or not. Just not the same.

La chica muy bonita treated me to BBQ tonight. Between she and my mother yes, I eat too well. We're foodies down here.

I've been spoiled with it living down south for so long (especially Mississippi)...it was ok last night...it's really good grilled also.

Random note-there is a DII school in Cleveland, MS named Delta St University. What is their nickname? The Fighting Okra. I ish you not.

One of my good friends from HS was a Fighting Okra at DSU (she played softball there). It’s still one of my favorite mascots.

Low and slow babies at 225 on the BGE. This is after the second leg after unwrapping from the butcher paper. Pairing with homemade mac and mustard slaw.

Choke that bietch down to about 200 for the final 1-1.5 hours. You'll have some tender babies. Are you saucing them or just rub+chips and charcoal?

If sauce, what is your fave? For ribs I'm partial to Sweet Baby Rays brown sugar sauce.

I'm trying my hand at spicy shrimp penne later for dinner. Spinning up a vodka sauce here shortly and la chica is on her way back with some white shrimp from Publix.
