As you have seen, a few articles have been posted to the main page over the past few days. I am coming on board to help Jared out a little bit covering Butler basketball. I know the passion that you all have for basketball and hope to bring you some reading material that you all can enjoy.

I work for a basketball scouting company, Prep Hoops, and know the basketball in the area very well. I have been writing sports for six years now between local newspapers and various online outlets. I hope to see many of you out at games this year.

Excited to be working with Jared and the ButlerHoops community!

Welcome to the board and will be good to get some more content. Jered does great but another perspective will be good also.

If we don't see you commenting 17 pages deep into a game thread about how "this isn't butler basketball" and "Fowler can't jump" and "we'll be lucky to make the NIT this year," then we'll know you don't actually care about the dawgs.

Also, spell McDermott with an I. Tell us that stats per 40 are invalid if you’re not playing 40 minutes per game, and insist that “active hands” is the difference between being a bad and good defender.

You’ll fit in quite well here by doing the above.

Also remember games are decided by advanced metrics and not the final score or player efforts.

Also make note of whether Evan Turner was in the lineup, it matters...

Doesn’t matter who’s in the lineup when our coach has lost the team

Thunderdunks. An article without Thunderdunks is just not an article.

I would also suggest reviewing the lyrics to "once in a lifetime"

WOW...seems like a lot of people are using this thread as their own personal therapy session (in jest) for the crazy things that happen during a game/season.

    Welcome aboard!

And of course agree with me that GH was a definite red-shirt candidate and he would never turn pro early because his sister was at Butler.

I never said he should be, but I suggested it after watching him play 1 game in HS.
