Nice game from #Butler bound Henry Baddley of St Vincent St Mary. Nice wing mate to what Kamar Baldwin brings to the table.

Half: Akron St. Vincent-St. Mary's 32 Cincinnati Roger Bacon 23 - All Irish that quarter. Butler signee Henry Baddley dominating.

    -----------

Dominating......I love that word. We need some of that.

We need dominating players badly. Hope Baddley is one of them.

Briefly left the basement tonight. Henry Baddley's arrow is pointing straight up. Butler fans, you're getting a really good one.

I've said it before, and I'll say it again. Of the 2016 commits, I'm most excited about this kid.

I really like this kid, but my money is still on Kamar Baldwin. I've been following him since he popped up on the Butler radar. There is literally nothing I have found, seen, heard to not like about this kid. I think he will challenge immediately for playing time and be a star. Not to take anything away from the others as I like them all but Baldwin to me has the total package.

Jared, can I get a comp for Baddley? What type of role in college would he best be suited for? Do you know his actual physicals?

He's going to be a very different type of player compared to what we've seen at Butler for the past decade. He's a long, athletic wing. I've seen some people say they think he is a 2 but I wouldn't agree with that right now. If he develops enough ball handling and shooting to be a 2 then Butler is going to have something really special. He can do a little bit of everything offensively but isn't great at anything either. He should be a very good defender who can switch out and at least temporarily guard anyone 1 through 4. No doubt his versatility should be a big asset. I see him in a Willie Veasley type role, where his primary role is guarding just about everyone on the floor but also being a capable scorer when the opportunity is there.
