Thanks for the heads up. Does Fox have a subscription that includes the BE & regional sports networks? Or can you buy a streaming package straight from the conference?

I checked all the other streaming providers and none of them seem to carry the regionals. As a Reds fan, it is a very sad day. Hoping it changes.

I made the decision to opt out of season ticket package today with a donation and to credit my account. Just a little too much uncertainty concerning my seats along with the fluid situation and the Marion County Health Department. There is always an option to buy individual seats.

Really fluid obviously but hearing around 2500 for Hinkle—that includes a sizable number of students. Don’t be surprised if only 1,000 or so seats are available for season ticket holders

The sad reality is I can’t imagine a 2,000 person environment at Hinkle being fun. I’ll likely go the donation route as well.

Those numbers could be very optimistic at this point considering the rise in cases. That was the primary reason for my decision if that is indeed the best case scenario. Certainly nothing to be over joyed about. Hope I'm wrong.

Hopefully a follow up test is negative.

Hinkle felt quite safe and you could tell the staff had very comprehensively planned for the best scenario possible. LOTs of distance between pods and no jams at entrances, concessions, other. Everyone very respectful and courteous.

I'm glad to hear this and it's what I expected. Hopefully the season goes on because I'd love to get to a game this season. I have the time and means to do so and traveling right now is extremely easy.

Butler fans are smart fans. Maybe not the loudest and crazy, but smart and respectful.

Few confirms a player tested positive. I don’t understand. Every other school has paused for weeks when a test is positive. What is different here?

The only reasonable explanation i can see:

    a) that player tested positive prior to traveling to fort Myers
    b) wasn’t on the trip and
    C) was infected from a source outside the team

But if he tested positive on the trip, then other players/staff should be in quarantine.

This doesn’t smell too good and could have put a lot of people at risk, including workers outside the program but I want to see the details of this positive test though before leaping to too many conclusions.

The NCAA in the coming days is expected to formally announce that Indianapolis will host the entire men’s basketball tournament this spring, a plan that was first revealed in November.

Ha-NCAA probably hoping we don’t make it so Hinkle can be used at will.

One arena per "Region" Hinkle, State Fairgrounds (Farmer's?), Mackey, and ISU? With the I-69/ SR 37 construction, I can't see Bloomington being in play. It would be easy enough to put Butler in one of the regions that don't play at Hinkle, if they were to be on the shiny side of the bubble.
