The IHSAA will be making an announcement at noon EDT Thursday as to the status of this years tournament.
Sectional titles were decided this past Saturday. There are still 3 scheduled weeks left if still played.

I want to make a joke about Blackford, but it seems inappropriate.

They could get away with postponing the high school tournament for a few weeks, I think. Less of a logistics nightmare than the NCAA tournament to reschedule since they're using member schools gyms and can shift which ones they're using if a conflict arises.

IHSAA is going the no crowd route. Maximum of 75 fans from each school allowed.

That's an extreme way to resolve the complaints that the Lapel gym is too small and the games should be moved!

If they want small, they can move it to Carnesecca Arena

I don’t see this happening. With players going to school everyday (most are still in session) the odds of them picking up the virus and spreading it are very high. It would not be unprecedented to postpone until 6 weeks or so, it happened in the 70’s during an energy crisis. Stay tuned.
