By no means am I an expert in this field. To give you some context, I am a large, beastly man who hasn't experienced many injuries in his life. My most traumatic injury was a hang nail, and I haven't suffered from any illnesses beyond a runny nose since I was 7 months old. Many of my brothers from college won't bring their "lady friends" around me simply due to my "girth", and superior immune system. Sad, but true. But anyways, I must to ask, what the HELL is going on with these injuries? At what point does this stop being just a mere coincidence, and become a symptom of a larger problem in regards to our strength and training program? At this rate, we will be lucky to field a starting 5 come February! Where is the break down? Are we over-training guys? Are we not getting proper nutrition? Do we lack "flexibility" in our strength training? Just spit balling here! Whether it's guys taking a full calendar year to come back from ACL's or Aaron Thompson's mysterious wrist and knee injuries taking MONTHS to heal - I've got questions!
