Was he injured in '23? There's some pretty impressive video of him in '22, his sophomore season, but I didn't see anything more current. Sent from my SM-G977U using Butler Hoops mobile app
He transferred from Osseo to Totino Grace. TG is back to back state champs. Osseo is good too but its not super uncommon for players , here, to transfer to a local private like this. I didn't look but Id imagine you could find his game logs from Osseo
Barring Miami throwing top 10 ranked NIL at him just because they can, this is the type of recruiting battle we HAVE to start winning.
Hope he is having a nice visit. Way too hot the past couple of days. Lots of football $ to compete with here. Hopefully Butler (especially with the Sundra ND commit) realizes they need to put together an attractive NIL offer.
First visit! Need to set a high bar and hope he commits before making all the rest of his visits. Need Big East players... It's weird that I'm most worried about Texas Tech. They have NIL money, A+ top-tier facilities, and the football teams plays #15 Oregon under the lights in primetime the weekend of his visit.
I agree here If we want to make the jump we should win this battle, Miami is the tough one here as they have done some tourney damage as of late If he chooses anyone but butler or Miami I will be bummed Sent from my iPhone using Butler Hoops mobile app
Are we able to be competitive, or are you saying there will need to be an infusion into AGD or someone hiring him to endorse their business to boost what we can do so that we can be competitive? Sent from my SM-G977U using Butler Hoops mobile app
I'm sure they have other donors, but the one billionaire, that it seemed was bankrolled the team, may be dealing with some financial issues. Sent from my SM-G977U using Butler Hoops mobile app
Same old ****ing story again it sounds like. What a bummer. Would have loved Johnson-Arigu to come to Butler. Great player and MN is kind of untapped recruiting wise. A lot of great underrated talent in that state. What do we think 26' Dothan Ijadimbola is going to tell Butler when they present him with a miniscule NIL offer when other programs like Nebraska, Iowa State, Illinois, and Xavier are recruiting him? So tired of the continued excuses and lack of leadership from the university and the athletic department. NIL has been in play for over 2 years now. How pissed off must the staff be that the university/fans/donors/fundraisers/collectives/businesses/etc. aren't properly funding them so they can at least be competitive NIL wise with top level talent? How hard is it to get Gordon Hayward to write a check for a million bucks? Why won't the elite rich with ties to Butler donate substantially to AGD? Butler needs to seriously consider dropping to the A10 or some other mid-major league when the next shake up occurs if they cannot compete monetarily with their current group of peers.
I am confused. What evidence is there that Butler is out of consideration, specifically because Butler didn't meet a specific monetary value demanded to recruit this guy? You must have direct first hand knowledge that Butler isn't in consideration because of a lack of NIL investment. Otherwise your post is the ramblings of either an insane person or your run of the mill adolescent sh* t posting
I think we need to overall have more resources available whether through AGD or private NIL. Sent from my iPhone using Butler Hoops mobile app
